A NONPROFIT "LOW BONO" OFFICE

Southside Community Law Center also known as (“SCLC”), is a “low bono”, non-profit law firm operating since 2016. Our mission is to offer our clients responsive, competent, and excellent service underscored by compassion and justice.

SCLC caters to the legal needs of the impoverished, disenfranchised, and other individuals within the state of Florida who do not qualify for free assistance and may not have the financial ability to afford an attorney at standard rates.

Executive Director Ruby Seymour-Barr, Esq.

With more than thirty years of experience, in both private practice and public service, Ruby Barr provides advice and counsel to the needs of families, businesses and community-based organizations.

Ruby received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Howard University. In 1982, she received her Juris Doctorate from Nova University.

Ruby Barr is the Executive Director of Southside Community Law Center.
