Dear Valued Clients,
We would like to inform you of Southside Community Law Center's policy in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, specifically the Delta Variant.
During this trying time, we understand that the fear of coming into an office building and exposing yourself and others to the rapidly spreading virus is a concern for many. Because of this, we are taking steps to ensure that your Legal needs are not put on hold, even when it seems the rest of the world is. This situation is new and ever-changing as we have learned over the past few weeks.
In an abundance of caution and in an effort to maintain our client and staff’s health, we have made the decision to close our office to walk-ins/in person meetings until further notice. The health and safety of you, your loved ones and our staff members are at the heart of this decision.
While implementing a closed door policy, our firm is actively working to ensure that we are 100% accessible to our clients during this time.
Virtual meetings, like ZOOM, can replace an initial in-person meeting, follow up telephone calls can be used to answer any questions or concerns during the planning process and our attorneys are able to draft and review documents through our client web portals. The process of preparing your estate plan, especially now, should not be put on hold.
We will continue to update you on our procedures as this develops.
Our staff will continue to work normal business hours (9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.), so please feel free to give us a call or send an email as you would normally do; We will be implementing a closed-door policy, so we will not be accepting any walk-ins or in-person meetings for the time being. Some exceptions may apply.
If you need to drop off any documents, we strongly prefer that you send these via email or fax if possible. Our fax number is 850-999-7553.
If you are unable to send via email or fax, please feel free to drop them off in our drop box located outside our office doors in the following manner:
In order to do our part to combat the spread of the coronavirus, and in compliance with the recommendations by our public health agencies and officials, some members of our firm will be working remotely all, or part, of the time to limit the number of people in office at all times. However, be assured that any documents delivered to our office will be taken inside as soon as possible - as always, your confidentiality is extremely important to us.
Kindly,
SCLC STAFF
